Arriving at Velas Vallarta, we were immediately greeted by the friendly bellmen saying “Welcome Home”! I had messaged our amazing wedding coordinator Michele Tanc that I was on my way to the resort from the airport and she was there to greet me with a big hug. Judith our rooms coordinator also came out to say hello. Next the most wonderful Hotel Manager in the whole world (in my opinion but it’s so true!) Juan Carlos came out to say hello and made sure we felt welcomed at his beautiful resort. We had a group of 25 family and friends coming in for our 25th anniversary celebration. Michele our coordinator is very good at what she does. She made all the planning so easy and if we needed something, she made it happen. The whole day she spent with us all the way till the end of the event. She is my hero. We had a beautiful cocktail hour after our rehearsal with mariachi trio. Antonio is the best bartender and he took such great care of us, David the banquet captain and his team made sure the drinks were replenished quickly and that we were all taken care of with the yummy food. They were with us for our 25th event too which made it so nice. Antonio was our event bartender (you can also catch him bartending at the swim up bar). We worked with Oliver for the entertainment and he picked the perfect Cuban quartet salsa band to keep us dancing on our feet! I didn’t want the night to end 😔. It was perfect! We spent the whole week at this resort and have so many to thank for making it an amazing week! Thank you La Ribera’s 2 Cristina’s! These 2 ladies go above and beyond and truly care about you and your experience. Thank you La Ribera night manager Jesus and the Chef who came out to talk to us about the menu for the rehearsal dinner! It was such a nice evening you had planned for us! Andrea’s restaurant manager Omar - my other hero! Servers Raul, Ricardo and Hector. Pool servers - Rogelio(keep that smile going! You make everyone feel like family. Ivan and Edwin too. Entertainment Cristian for helping me surprise my friend Sal with the mariachis on Sunday night. All of my family and friends loved it here!
