My daughter decided to pick this hotel for her wedding. I was apprehensive, as I have been to 4 other resorts in Mexico and was not overly impressed. Wow!!!! What a different experience!!The food: Top notch! The service: Perfect! The wedding: My daughter has told me on numerous occasions that it couldn't have been more perfect! (and how could I not be happy about that!) We had approx 35 people in the wedding party, family, and friends. I asked each of them, at different times, what their experience was. No one had a complaint. Each and every person complimented the resort and the employees...and the FOOD! Typically...food at resorts is lackluster… Not here. The food is well put together for every meal. There was this soup we had at the wedding: Sopa de poblano y huitlacoche... the guests were raving!!! Everyone wanted some to take back home after we left the resort!! If you you are having a wedding... find Leticia Ponce. She is the ultimate planner! She planned my daughter´s event and managed it the entire time we were there. I cannot say enough about Ms. Ponce. She is absolutely one of the most friendly, patient, organized, and helpful people I have ever met! I consider her a family and I promised her that I would bring my children and friends back to renew my vows with my wife in 2023 (our 20th anniversary!) And then there was Luis, my personal concierge. I inadvertently forgot to have my linen suit tended to and it was outrageously wrinkled from the luggage and flight. I looked at it, late, on the day of the wedding...and realized that I was in trouble. But not Luis… He came to my room and picked up the suit and has it steam pressed and back to me within two hours. And they do not have such a service on site at the resort, so Luis had to take the suit off site and have this done. Again, I was impressed by the service beyond the norm and the fact that the word NO; was not part of the vocabulary of the staff! I will be back again and it is the only resort I will visit in Mexico for this moment on! (And look at the other reviews about the food and service...they mimic our experience!!
