My husband and I got married at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit on Saturday, May 6th, 2017. All I can say is this place is FANTASTIC. We had the most amazing time. And all of our guests were not only raving about the wedding but the resort in general. The staff is overwhelmingly helpful. We were amazed at the level of service and so were all of guests. There is some much I want to say but I am going to try and make this short & sweet. Ok so... First of all.... Andrea the Wedding planner at the resort is amazing! She made sure everything on our special day was perfect. She was on top of everything from start to finish. You may think to yourself "hmmmm how hard is to plan a wedding internationally?" Well... the answer is it's not. It's a lot of emailing back and forth but as long as you have an idea and pictures Andrea and her team will make them come to life. And you will be blown away! Second, the venue is absolutely gorgeous. The only downfall is it does tend the get a bit windy in the afternoon so my hair was driving my nuts. Unfortunately, we can't control the weather. Lol We got married late afternoon which made for great pictures because of the beautiful sunset in the background. Third, the food was so good, not just the night of the wedding but at the resort in general. Which is hard to find when going the all inclusive route. Overall, our day was so magical it was exactly what we wanted and we wouldn't have done a single thing differently! HUGE Thank you Andrea and to all the staff at Grand Velas We will see you for our 1 year anniversary :)
