If you have ever wondered what it would be like to feel like you are royalty, well then I would say have your wedding at Casa Velas! This quaint adults-only resort is really beautiful and was the perfect place to celebrate our special day. They care so much about the appearance of their resort that if you look closely you will notice that they are always doing work to improve its aesthetics (e.g. landscaping the beautiful gardens and constantly maintaining the paint work to keep the resort looking like new). Their staff are so friendly, professional and truly care about making sure that you have an incredible time while staying there. It is extremely noticeable that they staff take so much pride in their craft - from making sure the towels that are laid out by the pool are perfectly rolled up to making sure that your drinks that you order are exactly the way you want them. They seem so happy to greet you when they see you and their faces light up when they know that you are appreciative of the hard work they have put in to make you happy and exceed your expectations. I don't know if this is normal, but Casa Velas' staff would turn down our room twice a day and each time they would leave some fancy looking handmade treats on the table for our enjoyment - beautifully presented and really tasty! The food is delicious at Casa Velas (love the breakfast) - it is out of this world and you don't have to stick to the menu, they will try accommodate whatever food request you might have - they have a very skilled chef. The spa could not be better value for money! It is a beautiful spa and they offer many different treatments for guests - We did a couples massage and facial and felt amazing afterwards. Our wedding was a dream come true all thanks to our wedding planners, Andrea Delgadillo and Andrea Garza. We worked with them closely throughout 2018 before the big day as they helped achieve our vision for the ceremony and reception party and within budget. They were meticulous with every detail and well organized which resulted in a magical night that all our guests including everyone at the resort are still discussing days later. We could not have planned this beautiful wedding without the professionalism and passion of their craft of the Casa Velas' staff as well as our planners, Andrea Delgadillo and Andrea Garza, and the amazing resort manager, Geraldine Zaragoza. We left the resort in tears as they became family to us throughout this journey. We formed lasting relationships with everyone and appreciate everything from Casa Velas! Fredy - The best barman in the whole world! Every drink you crafted for us tasted delicious - it was great knowing that you would be at the swim up bar everyday. We also really appreciate you giving up your day off to work in the bar for our wedding - especially since you did it because you wanted to be there for us! :) Gerardo ("Francisco") - You have a beautiful voice and we love your happy nature! Thank you so much for singing at our wedding - you got the after party started! Also, thanks for organizing the soccer ball for us so we could play on the beach. Next time we will go with you to play on the beach that you told us about. Miguel - You were so helpful with all your recommendations and helping us with organizing the various activities we wanted to do like organizing golf and dinner reservations, etc. You are such a warm friendly person and we are so glad that we got to meet you. Benny - The signature cocktail that you made for our wedding guests was simply perfect - there is a reason why it ran out! All our guests also loved the amazing little animals that you made with toothpicks and wine corks - very creative. You were amazing at keeping the drinks flowing and the party going, thank you! Cesar - The man of the house always looking sharp with his fancy fedora! How could we not feel welcome at Casa Velas with you meeting us at the front door every day - you are awesome!
